Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to all orders for the purchase of goods from the Oxfam Ireland Online Shop.
Please save a copy of these terms and conditions for your future reference.
Our contract
If you place an order online to purchase a product from Oxfam Ireland, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we deliver the product to you. Any products on the same order which we have not delivered to you do not form part of that contract. You warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and that you are at least 18 years old.
Description of the Goods
We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Whilst we endeavour to provide up to date images of individual products, for a minority of items such as high print volume books, stock images may be used. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published, including prices and promotions.
Availability
The supply of goods from this website is subject to availability and it is not always possible for us to inform you at the time you place your order whether the goods you want are still available for purchase. In the case of this happening a carefully selected alternative may be sent, or a refund may be given.
Delivery
UK & Ireland
Oxfam offers a standard charge of second-class post of €6.00 for republic of Ireland and €5 for Northern Ireland Great Britain. Products are sent by An Post for Republic of Ireland and Royal Mail for Northern Ireland/ GB. Unless Express post is chosen, in which case we use Express Freight Couriers
We aim to dispatch all items within three to six working days of your order being received and depending on your choice of shipping.
Europe & Worldwide
Oxfam offers a standard charge of €12 for Europe and €32 for the rest of the world. We aim to dispatch all items within three to six working days of your order being received. Purchases over €250 will qualify for free postage.
Returns
When returning goods please contact us first @ irl-info@oxfam.org .We offer a 14-day no quibbles return policy which begins from the date you received the goods. You must return the goods within the 14 days period. All returns must contain original order details for refund/exchange to be processed , If you contact us outside of the 14-day period or fail to return the item to us within 14 days we will not refund/ exchange the order (unless defective/damaged).
All unwanted goods should be returned in a re-saleable condition. This does not affect your statutory rights. When you send your item back we will process the returned item and offer you the choice of a replacement or a refund.
Refunds
If you request a refund, we will refund the full price of the purchase, but we do not refund any mandatory delivery charges incurred.
You will receive notification via e-mail of your refund. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase.
Security
When submitting your order, you are agreeing to the purchase of goods and to allow Oxfam to use your personal data for the purpose of supplying the goods. For further information on privacy and security please see Oxfam Ireland

Alteration of Service or Amendments to the Conditions
We reserve the right to make changes to our website, policies, and these Terms and Conditions of Purchase at any time. You will be subject to the policies and Terms and Conditions of Purchase in force at the time that you use the website or that you order goods from us, unless any change to those policies or these conditions is required to be made by law or government authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you). If any of these conditions are deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
Events beyond our reasonable control
We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any causes which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
